State Registration of Cosmetics according to TR CU 009/2011

Marking of Cosmetic Products

Marking of perfume and cosmetic products shall be carried out in accordance with TR CU 009/2011 On Safety of Perfume and Cosmetic Products.

Requirements for marking according to GOST 27429-87 and GOST 28303-89 are applicable.

The Unified Sign shall be applied to the packaging of cosmetics, to the label, medallion, leaf-liner, and operational documents.

This symbol indicates additional information on perfume and cosmetic products.

Cosmetic products shall be marked with the required information:

  • Product name;
  • Location of the manufacturer;
  • Trademark;
  • Volume or weight;
  • Composition;
  • Storage conditions;
  • Shelf life;
  • Date of manufacture;
  • Mark of the standard or other normative document;
  • Information on verification of compliance;
  • Information with caution, or on the effective use.

All the domestic or imported cosmetic products available to consumers through sales in stores, over the Internet or by other lawful means are subject to registrations at the state level.

In order to successfully pass the registration procedure, the manufacturer or seller must have a set of mandatory documents drawn up in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation (refer to requirements for sets of documents for registration of imported cosmetics and for registration of domestic cosmetics).
